• Mosaïcultures internationales de Montréal

World leader in the art of mosaiculture

Fondée en 1998, Mosaïcultures Internationales de Montréal a développé une expertise unique dans la conception, la réalisation et l’entretien d’expositions, de jardins et d’œuvres de mosaïculture.

Mosaïcultures Internationales de Montréal can provide training for special mosaiculture projects, as it did in Burnaby, B.C. in 2004 and for the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in 2005. Training can also be provided to participants in Mosaïcultures Internationales® exhibitions.

For long-term mosaiculture rentals (e.g. the Atlanta Botanical Garden in 2013 and 2014) or purchases (e.g. the Bank of America Tower in New York from 2009 to 2012), we can provide training to local horticulturalists along with follow-up to help preserve the quality of the works.

  • MOSAÏCULTURES INTERNATIONALES® COMPETITIONS

Developed around themes inspired by culture, history, stories, dreams, literature and music, the international competitions known as Mosaïcultures Internationales® are memorable events of stunning beauty. With every passing week, the exhibition evolves, inciting visitors to return to rediscover these monumental and expressive plant sculptures.

Held every three to four years under the auspices of the International Mosaiculture Committee, the events generate considerable visitor traffic in and revenue for both their host cities and the surrounding region. Together with the 2001 exhibition, the three competitions held in 2000, 2003 and 2013 — all of which were organized by Mosaïcultures Internationales de Montréal — attracted over four million visitors and had major economic benefits for Montréal and Québec.

Mosaïcultures Internationales de Montréal also produced works representing Montréal in the competitions held in Shanghai and Hamamatsu in 2006 and 2009 respectively.

  • Exhibitions

Taking its lead from the international competitions, Mosaïcultures Internationales de Montréal also developed three exhibitions developed based respectively on culture (The Magician’s Garden in Montréal), wildlife (Niagara Falls) and the imagination (Imaginary Worlds in Atlanta).

    Sculptural works

Mosaïcultures Internationales de Montréal has produced works to represent participants in various competitions (Floralies, Mosaïcultures Internationales®) as well as for major exhibitions such as those mounted at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. These generally consist of rentals for specific periods.

Mosaïcultures Internationales de Montréal has also created permanent plant sculptures such as the works created for the Bank of America’s New York head office at One Bryant Park.
